Weekly Specials
Ben’s Plaice caters for all tastes, with exciting dishes to tempt the foodies! The specials change weekly, and we like to create new dishes to keep things fresh. Examples include dirty fries, with a huge variety of topping options such as cheese & bacon, Katsu king prawn or dirty duck & hoisin; 1/2Kilo of chicken breast tenders with chips & southern fried chicken gravy; salt & pepper chicken flatbreads; mac & cheese bites; cheese & jalapeño poppers; garlic mushrooms with garlic mayo; our loaded dry-aged steak burgers with various toppings and our mighty chicken stack.
Belgian chocolate brownies are freshly baked on the premises – with a different flavour each week eg. Biscoff & white chocolate, with other desserts appearing as specials. We have a FWIP self-serving gelato machine, too! To see our special deals, follow our Facebook page.

At Ben’s Plaice, we give the customer the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients, cooked fresh to order. Our fish is sustainable, and our batter is renowned for being light and crispy, so doesn’t lay heavy on the stomach. When available, we offer something a little extra than just the usual cod or haddock – with monkfish, lemon sole, plaice, scallops etc., and of course our specials being in high demand at the till. We also offer value boxes, gluten-free options and a loaded fries menu.
We are licenced to sell alcohol, on-sales and off-sales, offering Cornish ciders, ales, beer and wine, and also sell a selection of hot drinks and soft drinks. If you wish to eat-in, we don’t charge any extra – simply collect your food and grab a table!
